Ron Thorp AC Cobra chasing Wallace, Holden Special (red) and Ian Hindmarsh JNS Hunter GT (also Holden engined), Warwick Farm. 1965 Fair quality only. The Hunter was an Australian special built by Hindmarsh from a JNS kit in 1962 and a very neat job too. Based almost solely on Holden components, the grey engine (when built) was stock bar 3 SU carbs and mated to an Austin Lancer gearbox. No doubt it was further modified by 1965 when this shot was taken.
